We are currently recruiting for a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Oxfordshire for a 5-week booking starting from 12th October.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Veterinary Surgeon looking for a short-term assignment within a supportive practice environment. The role includes a mix of consultations and surgery, working alongside another Veterinary Surgeon while also undertaking some sole charge responsibilities.
The practice is flexible and can accommodate either a 4 or 5-day week. Ideally, they would like one locum to cover the full booking but are open to splitting the cover if required.
Key features of the role:
- 5-week locum booking from 12th October
- 4 or 5-day week available
- Mix of consultations and surgery
- Working alongside another Veterinary Surgeon
- Some sole charge duties
- No out-of-hours
- No weekends
- Small animal practice
Working hours:
- 8:00am–6:00pm
- 1-hour lunch break included

- All payroll methods considered
We are looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon who is comfortable with both consults and routine surgical procedures and able to work independently when required.
