Ongoing Locum Vet - Accommodation Available | Wiltshire
We’re working with a well-established small animal group in the Swindon area who are looking for a confident Locum Vet to step in ASAP for a 3-month booking due to an unexpected absence. This is a great option for someone who enjoys variety across sites, with a clear rota, no OOH, and accommodation available if needed.
The Role
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 3 months (initial booking)
- Pattern: 4 days per week
- 3 days at a branch practice
- 1 day at the main hospital site
- Day off: Tuesdays
- Hours: 8:30am – 7:00pm
- Weekends: Ideally 1:4 Saturdays (9:00am – 3:00pm)
- OOH/On-call: None
- Clinical split: Mix of consults with some routine surgery
- Sole charge: Required at the branch site (support available via the wider group)
The Practice
This is a friendly multi-site small animal group with a branch-and-hospital setup, offering a good balance of first-opinion casework and access to hospital-level facilities on your hospital day. You’ll be joining a team that values a calm, practical approach and someone who can confidently manage a branch day in sole charge.
