We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary practice. We are an independent Practice, accredited as a nurse training Practice and accredited by the ISFM as a cat friendly Practice. The Practice Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing finances, ensuring efficient & effective operation of the Practice and driving continuous improvement within the Practice.
Duties:
- Supervise and manage all aspects of the veterinary practice
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth operation of the practice
- Manage human resources, including recruiting, training, scheduling and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and coordinate ordering as needed
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff members
- Handle client inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with veterinary surgeons to ensure high-quality patient care
Experience:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within a veterinary practice is desirable
- Strong knowledge of veterinary practice operations and procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in financial management and budgeting
- Familiarity with human resources practices and regulations
