A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to step into a Clinical Nurse Manager role, leading nursing teams across three well‑established, high‑performing practices. This is a full‑time, Monday–Friday position with no weekends and no out‑of‑hours, offering the chance to combine hands‑on clinical work with genuine leadership responsibility.

The practices have strong, stable nursing teams with a culture built around collaboration, clinical excellence and mutual respect. This role is ideal for a Lead or Head Nurse ready to take the next step into multi‑site leadership while remaining clinically active.

The Role
You will divide your time between clinical work and leadership responsibilities, typically spending three days per week in practice (one day at each site) and two days on leadership and administration. The role is not office‑bound — you will remain a visible, hands‑on presence within the nursing teams.

Key responsibilities include overseeing nursing standards, supporting and mentoring colleagues, shaping processes that directly impact patient care and contributing to wider practice strategy. You will work closely with senior leadership, gaining exposure to multi‑site management, P&L awareness and business decision‑making.

Who This Role Suits

The Team
You will be joining highly engaged, home‑grown nursing teams with a mix of experienced and newly qualified nurses. The culture is supportive, open and collaborative, with shared clinical standards and a strong emphasis on professional development.

Culture & Wellbeing
The practices offer a genuinely positive working environment with regular social activities, team‑led events and a strong sense of community. Monthly socials, seasonal celebrations and in‑practice events help maintain a friendly, connected atmosphere.
