About Us
Robson Vets, Laurencekirk is a small animal only practice situated between Aberdeen and Dundee. It is about 40 minutes either way. We have two other branches that are consult only at Portlethen and Montrose. Our facilities are state of the art and include two theatre suites, a separate dental suite with Xray, isolation unit and intensive care ward. There is separate housing for cats and dogs and a divided waiting area. Our equipment includes infusion pumps, patient warmers, blood pressure machine, multi parameter monitoring machine, rhinoscope and a new ultrasound machine. The nurse consultations range from weight clinics to wellness clinics whereby the nurse takes bloods, does urinalysis and blood pressure measurements. In our locality we have some lovely places to have lunch, a gym within reach of the practice and a train station nearby. We have easy access to the foothills of the Cairngorms and some beautiful beaches, St Cyrus and Stonehaven.
About the Team and Culture
At Robson's we are lucky to have 8 vets, 7 nurses and 2 student veterinary nurses. We have 5 veterinary care assistants and 6 receptionists who cover the branches and our base at Laurencekirk. Three of our Vets are working towards certificates in ECC, Cardiology and Dermatology. One of our Clinical Directors takes an interest in exotics so we have a range species here.
