VetPro Recruitment are looking for a small animal Head Veterinary Nurse to join a supportive team in Bedfordshire. This busy but rewarding role will suit a dynamic person with leadership experience that is looking for a new challenge or would suit an experienced Nurse looking to take the next step in their career. The rota consists of working 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. The shifts are between 8:30am-7:30pm with Saturdays being from 8:30am-12:30pm. Out of hours is not required. The nurses work across all nursing activities including anaesthesia and theatre, diagnostics including radiography and laboratory work, inpatient duties, and nurse consultations; in addition to assisting the Veterinary Surgeons during procedures and consultations. As part of your role as Head Veterinary Nurse, you would also be responsible for managing the nursing team and nurse rota, checking stock levels and ordering, plus much more. You will be encouraged to pursue special interests and CPD. Paid memberships. Competitive salary dependent on experience.
