The Role:
Our client is looking for an additional nurse to join their long-established, continually growing and recently renovated, first opinion small animal practice.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Advanced Practitioners in Small Animal Surgery and the rest of their fantastic team, who are all there to support and develop one another's skill sets. The team consists of 8 vets, 7 RVNs and a fantastic support team of 10.. It is a very happy, well-organised and supportive team, and if you have the same beliefs in teamwork and providing excellent patient care, they would love to welcome you to their team!
The ideal nurse will be a forward-thinking, experienced Veterinary Nurse who is prepared to help with first opinion and is confident working unaccompanied. They also place importance on building strong relationships with their clients and their pets. Experience of referral work isn’t essential – you will receive all the training needed.
The practice could be flexible depending on the right candidate for hours and days, although they are ideally looking for a nurse to work at least 3-4 days a week and share weekends on a rota basis (1 in 6 weekends). Shifts are varied (8 to 4, 9 to 5, 10-6 & 11.30 to 7.30) Paid lunch breaks and overtime.
