Up to £32,000 | 40-Hour Week | Permanent & Maternity Cover Available
We are recruiting two Registered Veterinary Nurses to join a busy and well-established small animal practice in Buckinghamshire, UK. One role is permanent and the other is a maternity cover position, offering a great opportunity to join a supportive 5-vet team within a thriving clinic environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN who enjoys working in a fast-paced, varied practice with a strong team around them. The clinic sees a busy caseload and also has on-site kennels, cattery facilities, and grooming services, making it a dynamic place to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to small animal patients
- Support vets with consultations, procedures, and inpatient care
- Assist with anaesthesia, theatre work, and diagnostics
- Monitor hospitalised patients and maintain accurate clinical records
- Provide excellent client communication and patient care
- Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team
Requirements
- Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered or eligible)
- Previous small animal practice experience preferred
- Confident working in a busy practice environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive and compassionate approach to patient care
Working Pattern
40 hours per week
- Shift patterns typically include:
- 8:00am – 5:00pm
- 8:00am – 5:30pm
- 10:30am – 7:00pm
