Purpose built. Supportive team. Space to grow. A role where you can actually thrive.

If you're an RVN who loves the job but hates feeling stretched thin, unseen, or stuck, this might feel like a breath of fresh air.

Maybe you are craving a team that genuinely works together, where you are encouraged to use your skills rather than apologising for needing support. Maybe you want variety, development, and a caseload that keeps you sharp without burning you out. If that sounds familiar, you are in the right place.

The Opportunity

We are working with a purpose built, independent clinic in the Warrington area, that has built something many nurses tell us they wish they had found sooner. A space designed to deliver exceptional care without compromising the wellbeing of the people providing it.

This practice is growing and they are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys a varied caseload, communicates well, and wants to be a genuine part of a nursing team, rather than just filling a rota gap. They want someone who takes pride in their work, supports their colleagues, and enjoys being hands on in all areas of nursing.

You will be joining a team that invests heavily in continuous learning. Many of the nurses and vets are working towards certificates, and the leadership team actively encourages development, rather than simply approving it on paper. If you want to stretch your skills and feel valued while doing it, you will fit in well here.

Why This Role Is Different

A workplace built around clinical quality

The practice is spacious, modern, and purpose built with excellent facilities. They have invested in a set up that allows nurses to do their best work, not just get through the day.

A team that stays

Colleagues here have a wide range of clinical interests and the practice actively supports certificate pathways. They are continually developing initiatives to close skills gaps and maintain high standards across every area of nursing.

Varied caseload that keeps you learning

From routine care to more complex cases, you will have the chance to use your full nursing skill set. This is not a box ticking role. They want someone who enjoys variety and wants to grow.

A culture of continuous CPD

CPD is not a yearly tick box here. It is happening across all levels, encouraged, funded, and woven into daily practice life. If you enjoy progression, you will not hit a ceiling.

A schedule that is busy but fair

This is a full time position with 1 in 4 weekends and duty nights shared equally amongst the team, providing a healthy balance and predictability.

Your Journey Here

In Your First Month:
You will get to know the team, learn the systems, find your rhythm in a well organised nursing structure, and begin taking ownership of your areas during the day.

In Your First 3 Months:
You will be confidently handling the varied caseload, supporting clinical workflow, and beginning to explore development opportunities that align with your interests.

In Your First 6 Months:
You will be a trusted member of the nursing team, potentially enrolling in further CPD or certificates, and contributing to clinical standards and new initiatives within the practice.
