Our client requires a registered veterinary nurse to join their team at their exceptional 24-hour hospital. You will be working alongside 10 Vets, 1 Head Nurse, 12 RVN’s and 5 receptionists. The practice is well-equipped with six consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, three sterile theatres, separate suites for diagnostics, dental facilities, digital x-ray, two staff rooms and much more. This hospital works to high standards throughout and is dedicated to delivering amazing client and patient care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Deliver exceptional care to all patients and clients
- Support with surgeries and procedures
- Carry out nurse led appointments
- Deliver patient monitoring and care
- Manage admissions and transfers to OOH or enhanced care
- Dispense and check medication
- Hold briefings to engage and co ordinate the team to support the most effective way to run the practice
- Experience in delivering exceptional customer client care
- Experience working as part of team
- Experience supporting nurse consults
- Experience in coaching and mentoring
- Excellent communication skills
This is a Perm, Full Time role working 40 hours a week over 5 days with 1:8 weekends. However, our client can be flexible so please do let us know what works for you.
This role offers a salary up to £30,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
