A reputable veterinary practice in the vibrant Devon area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-established practice equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technology to provide the highest standard of care to our beloved animal companions.
The successful candidate will be a qualified RVN with excellent communication skills and a genuine love for animals. As a valued member of the team, they will have the opportunity to utilize their nursing skills to their fullest potential while working alongside experienced veterinarians and support staff.
This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week with flexible rota options to accommodate work-life balance. The rota includes 1 in 4 weekends and no OOHs allowing team members to enjoy regular time off and pursue personal interests outside of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and procedures.
- Providing compassionate nursing care to patients throughout their stay in the practice.
- Conducting diagnostic tests and administering medications as directed by the veterinary team.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educating pet owners on preventive healthcare and post-treatment care for their pets.
