Our client is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a rewarding role in their thriving practice within a fantastic coastal location in Devon working alongside their supportive and well-established team in a balanced work environment. This practice stands out for its commitment to fostering growth, delivering excellent patient care, and offering flexibility.
Based in the beautiful maritime city of Plymouth, with access to the coast, local transport, and international travel links this practice is led by the Clinical Lead Vet, alongside the experienced Head Nurse and Clinical Coach and is supported by a dedicated non-clinical team, so nurses don’t handle reception duties.
The practice offers modern facilities with state-of-the-art equipment and onsite parking and provides a variety of cases that let you use your full range of nursing skills, from anaesthetic monitoring to patient recovery and discharges.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care with a focus on client communication, as well as monitoring anaesthetics, supporting surgical cases, and managing patient admissions and discharges whilst contributing to a well-managed diary, ensuring a steady workflow in a busy yet structured practice.
This team are looking for someone who can be a team player with excellent communication skills, ready to collaborate and thrive in a positive work environment. If you have an area of special interest, the practice will also provide full support for further study and professional development.
This is a permanent full-time role with 1 in 3 or 4 weekends. However, our client can be flexible and is happy to consider a part-time role for the right candidate so please do let us know your preferences.
