Are you a passionate RVN looking to expand your clinical skills in a warm and encouraging practice environment? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independently run small animal practice in South West England, seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to fully utilise their nursing skills and be part of a progressive and supportive team.

About the Practice:
This busy, purpose-built practice is well-equipped with everything you'd expect from a modern first-opinion clinic, including:
- Dedicated theatre
- Digital and dental x-rays
- Ultrasound
- IDEXX haematology and biochemistry
With an experienced team offering advanced in-house surgical, imaging, medical and dental services, this practice provides a true all-round GP experience. You'll enjoy a varied caseload that allows you to take ownership of your role and develop your skills across consults, diagnostics, and clinical care.
💼 About the Role
This position is ideal for an RVN ready to take the next step in their nursing career. You’ll be encouraged to make full use of your skillset with duties including:
- Nurse consults and post-op checks
- Bandage changes and weight clinics
- Radiography and COHAT
- Schedule 3 procedures
- In-patient care and anaesthesia monitoring
This is ideally a full-time role with just 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday mornings in practice / Saturday afternoon and Sunday on-call) – no routine OOH and time off in lieu. Flexibility is available for the right candidate.
