Our client has an opportunity for an RVN to join their team covering whole weekends, supported by an amazing team of dedicated Vets, RVN’s and VCA’s. This role would suit a newly qualified nurse or someone looking to get back into veterinary nursing and looking to progress their career, or to work around family life. The practice offers great facilities including Laparoscopy , endoscopy, bronchoscopy, digital x-rays, an extensive lab suite, dog and cat wards with underfloor heating, an isolation ward, an intensive care ward, and a state of the art ultrasound machine.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Deliver consistent care to all patients and clients
- Support with surgeries and procedures
- Carry our nurse led appointments
- Deliver patient monitoring and care
- Manage admissions and discharges
- Complete patients transfers and handovers
- Dispense and check medication
- RCVS Registered
- Experience delivering patient care
- Experience working effectively as part of team
- Experience support Nurse consultations
- Excellent communication skills
This is a Perm, Part Time role with a salary up to £32,000 DOE pro rata and a range of benefits including
