A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly, independent GP practice. This role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys consulting, values continuity of care and wants to work in a supportive, close‑knit team.
The practice offers a warm, community feel with modern equipment and a strong emphasis on autonomy, professional development and maintaining a healthy work‑life balance. There is no pressure from targets, and the team is encouraged to grow, develop and follow their own clinical interests.
The Role
The full‑time rota is expected to be four days per week (9.25‑hour shifts), with Tuesdays or Wednesdays off (to be confirmed), plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. Part‑time applicants are also welcome. There are no out‑of‑hours, and any overtime is paid.
This role is particularly suited to an RVN who enjoys consulting. You will run weight clinics and general nurse consultations, with training provided if needed. Preference will be given to candidates who are clinical coaches or willing to train as one, with a bonus available when mentoring.
The clinic is compact but well equipped, with one consult room, three kennels and a theatre, supported by ultrasound, in‑house lab, digital x‑ray, dental x‑ray, oxygen generator, dental equipment and more.
