JR has a fantastic opportunity for a CNM to join our clients professional and friendly team. This is a leadership role where you will also provide a nursing voice at a senior level. You will be responsible for maintaining high clinical standards whilst maintaining high quality care for the patients and ensuring a happy, efficient working environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Deliver consistent and exceptional care to all patients
- Manage the nursing team
- Meet every other week with the Regional Nursing Manager and report on quality assurance and standard operating procedures
- Demonstrate and excellent work protocol in nursing and high level hygiene
- Taking an active part in clinical duties including a full share of the On-Call Rota
- Provide leadership
- Ensure lead nurses have time to complete their administration responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Work closely and alongside the Vets and non surgical teams
- Attend regular management meetings
- Ensure accurate patient records are updated
- Carry out Lead Nurse appraisals
- Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained and serviced
- Have 5 years in Practice with a minimum of 2 years post RVN registration (essential)
- Experience of leading a team (desirable)
- Organising Operations (desirable)
- H&S (desirable)

This is a Perm, Full Time role with a starting salary of £36,000 DOE.
