We are working with a well established, independent group that is RCVS accredited and a Nurse Training Practice. The group covers the Chelmsford area and have 3 sites- one being their modern, state of the art hospital.
Our client is looking for a positive, team focused RVN that is looking for a fun environment, with varied cases and a busy work environment. This role is only available due to growth within the business, and therefore their team. They are really concentrating on finding the right individual to join their team, so they will consider both full and part time applicants.
You will be given the opportunity to cover all aspects of nursing, from running clinics, to surgery and consults. You will not be asked to work on reception at all. With huge opportunity for any personal development and aspirations actively encouraged.
Shifts are a mixture of either covering early 8am – 4.30pm or late 10am – 7pm over 5 days for a FT RVN. They also have some nurses that cover 8am-7pm over 4 days for a FT rota. No OOH.
The hospital where you would be based has fantastic, new facilities including DR and dental radiography, multi-parameters anaesthetic monitors, Doppler blood pressure monitors, capnography, tonopen, high-spec. ultrasound machine, rigid endoscope, gastroscope and bronchoscope, bair huggers for all our patients under anaesthesia, dedicated dental suite, in-house laboratory with endocrinology and Sedivue urine analyser. Separate dog, cat and exotics wards. Isolation ward. They work in an air-conditioned building that provides all-round comfort for man and beast, alike!
The team cover varied caseloads, primarily dogs and cats with rabbits and the occasional exotic pet. With a visiting peripatetic orthopaedic / soft tissue surgeon and cardiologist.
The group have a small team of highly motivated individuals that are making the practice as ‘green’ as possible.
