A maternity cover position has become available for a motivated RVN to join this happy team of 13 registered nurses, 3 students and 3 ward assistants.
The maternity cover is to fill a full-time position with only 1:11 weekends (with lunch provided!), and only 1 bank holiday cover every 2 years (yes, 2 years!). Depending on the experience of the candidate full time hours can be worked as a 4 day week
The practice is a fully equipped first opinion and referral independent practice with 10 veterinary surgeons and a large support team.
Nurses are heavily involved in all areas of the practice from wards and theatres to nurse consulting and diagnostic work. The referral work covers dermatology, oncology, orthopaedics, poultry medicine and soft tissue. The CT scanner, electrochemotherapy and companion regenerative therapy are just some of the additional services on offer.
At present the RVN team has further qualifications in ECC, feline nursing, nutrition, behaviour and exotics.
