JR is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role as Senior Clinical Nurse Lead and drive clinical excellence and manage the nursing team. You will be leading and working alongside a team of 10 Vets, 7 RVNs, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 4 Veterinary Care Assistants and a dedicated support team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the clinic's nursing strategy and continuous improvement. As well as overseeing all aspects of nursing team management. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative and team-oriented environment and enjoys mentoring and developing others.
The practice provides state-of-the-art facilities including an operating theatre, dedicated dental theatre, X-ray and dental X-ray, portable ultrasound, a newly installed scavenging system for better environmental control, separate cat and dog wards, an isolation kennel, and a dedicated cat reception area.
This practice promotes a positive and engaged team culture, organizing quarterly social events such as Ninja warrior challenges, Pottery painting, Team rounders, Family fun days, Wine tasting and Samba drumming.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours a week over 5 days with 1:5 weekends 8.30am – 3.30pm on a Saturday and 10am – 2pm on a Sunday with 2 full days off TOIL.
This role offers a salary up to £34,000 DOE with a range of benefits including
