Ware, Hertfordshire, United KingdomWe are looking for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our team of 5 full time and 5 part time Vets in Ware, Hertfordshire. The practice is single site and purpose built so no branch work and very minimal sole charge. Each full time vet gets their own day in theatre with 3.5 days consulting with a half day off per week. In a 6 week rotation one weekend will include consulting Saturday morning then taking care of any inpatients for that weekend and another Saturday morning consulting only. Following the weekend of inpatient care a long weekend off is allocated. CPD is encouraged and generously funded. Morning rounds provide an opportunity for the team to brainstorm, discuss clinical protocols and collaborate ideas.
Chestnut Vets is a well-respected busy small animal practice which benefits from a varied caseload ranging from the provision of preventative health care to a range of facilities for digital diagnostic imaging, dentistry, medical investigations (separate dog and cat wards), and surgical procedures. Equipment includes Ultrasound, endoscopy, in house laboratory and laparoscopic equipment.
We are a friendly and supportive team of 5 full time vets and 5 part time vets, 8 RVN's, 2 student nurses and a fabulous reception team. We pride ourselves in being RCVS accredited and VN training practice.
Ideally we need an associate with some confidence in general consulting and surgery, someone happy to work within a team where case discussion and contributions are encouraged, keen to develop skills and progress and who puts client and pet care at the foremost.
