Are you a proactive and compassionate RVN looking for a weekend role in a friendly and supportive practice? Our client is a well-established mixed practice with 2 surgeries, and they are looking for a dedicated nurse to join their caring team!
This role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys varied nursing responsibilities and is passionate about delivering excellent first-opinion care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for duties including caring for medical and surgical patients post-op, assisting vets in theatre and prep areas, pharmacy stock control and ordering, caring for isolation patients and laboratory work.
This practice offers modern facilities, including Two operating theatres with multi-parameter monitors, laparoscopy equipment a fully equipped lab with haematology, biochemistry, electrolyte & therapeutic monitoring analysers and an Ultrasound scanner, digital radiography & dedicated dental X-ray unit.
You will be working alongside a team who actively encourage personal growth and further qualifications, providing you with an excellent opportunity to develop your skills.
This is a permanent, part-time role working 18 hours a week. Friday 8 hours ((8am-5pm / 9am-6pm / 10am-7pm), Saturday 6.5 hours (8am – 3pm) and Sunday 4 hours (9am – 12.30pm).
This role offers a salary up to £17,000 DOE and a range of benefits including
