A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a wonderful team at a practice in Lancashire. The candidate will be on a department rota to maximise variety in their working week. Departments include Theatre, Recovery, Diagnostics, Consulting with the possibility of a small amount of Reception cover on occasion. Ideally the rota will include working 40 hours, Monday to Friday, but reduced hours/days will be taken into consideration. Shift times are a mix of 8:00am-5:00pm and 10:00am-7:00pm. Weekend on call until March 2024 will be 1 in 7 weekends then from March 2024 it will be inpatient care only with no element of on call. Saturday mornings are 8:00am-12:00pm and will be on a 2 in 7 rota alongside the 1 in 7 on call/inpatient care rota. You will be joining a friendly team with a mix of experience made up of 4 full time Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, an Animal Nursing Assistant, plus a team of Receptionists. Facilities include digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscope, HDO BP & Laser Therapy. On offer is an excellent package including CPD allowance, paid memberships, and a competitive salary dependent on experience.
