A well-equipped veterinary hospital in London is seeking a new Night RVN to join their established team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with ECC experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospital environment and delivering high standards of overnight patient care.
Working alongside an experienced night veterinary surgeon, you will play a key role in managing emergency admissions, monitoring inpatients and providing exceptional nursing care throughout the night.
Working Pattern
• Rota: 3 nights on / 7 nights off, then 4 nights on / 7 nights off
• Average 30.33 hours per week
• Night shifts: 7:00pm – 8:00am
Key Responsibilities
• Triage emergency cases and assess urgency on arrival
• Assist veterinary surgeons during procedures, examinations and consultations
• Monitor and care for hospitalised patients overnight
• Maintain accurate hospitalisation and patient care records
• Provide high standards of patient comfort and welfare
• Utilise Schedule 3 nursing skills where appropriate
• Communicate with clients regarding patient progress when required
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, sterilisation and organisation within the hospital
Salary
• £30,330 – £35,634 for the rota above

• 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata)
• Annual CPD allowance with up to 2 days paid CPD leave
