Brand-new, design-led clinic. Nurse-led care. A culture built around people and pets.

If you are an RVN who wants more than just another rota

If you love nursing but feel the industry could do better, slower, kinder, more intentional, this might be the role that reminds you why you chose this career in the first place.

The Opportunity

We are working with a forward-thinking veterinary group opening a brand new practice in Balham. This is not a refurb or a takeover. It is a clinic built from the ground up with one clear mission: to make veterinary care joyful again for teams, clients and pets.

This practice has been designed around how veterinary professionals actually work. Calm spaces. Beautiful interiors. Purpose-built technology developed in-house, to remove friction from your day rather than add to it. The goal is simple. Let nurses nurse, let vets vet, and let everyone go home feeling proud rather than drained.

They are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who genuinely cares about clinical standards, client education and being part of something bigger than themselves. Someone who enjoys responsibility, values teamwork, and wants to help shape the culture of a new clinic from day one.

Why This Role Is Different

A clinic designed for nurses, not against them

This is a purpose-built space with dedicated consult rooms, well-organised prep areas, and workflows designed to reduce stress. Cleanliness, surgical etiquette and anaesthetic safety are taken seriously and supported properly.

Nurse consults that actually matter

You will be actively involved in nurse-led consults, client education and preventative care. This is not box-ticking. It is valued, scheduled and recognised as a core part of the service.

High clinical standards, consistently applied

Clear protocols, strong GA monitoring standards, excellent record keeping and well-run stock management. Expectations are high, but you are supported to meet them.

A genuinely people-first culture

This group talks openly about creating a sanctuary for teams as well as pets. That shows up in how they communicate, how they plan rotas, and how they treat each other day to day.

Your Journey Here

In your first month, you will focus on settling into the clinic, learning protocols, getting comfortable with the systems and building strong relationships with the team. You will be supported, not rushed.

By three months, you will be confidently managing anaesthetic monitoring, nurse consults and clinical responsibilities independently. You will be contributing ideas and shaping how things are done in a brand-new environment.

By six months, you will be a trusted, established member of the team. Someone others rely on clinically and culturally, with room to grow as the group expands.
