Registered Veterinary Nurse – Independent Practice
South West London | Full-Time | From £30,000 DOE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a modern independent small animal practice in South West London. This is a fantastic chance to work in a supportive, forward-thinking clinic that places a strong emphasis on patient care, team wellbeing and clinical standards.
The Role
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with a varied nursing role covering all aspects of general practice nursing including theatre work, inpatient care and nurse consultations.
You’ll be working closely with a friendly and collaborative team, supporting a growing caseload while delivering excellent care to both patients and clients.
Working Pattern
• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9am–12pm) with time off in lieu
• No out-of-hours
• No Sundays or bank holidays
The Practice
You’ll be joining a modern, purpose-designed independent practice with excellent facilities and a supportive team environment.
The clinic is fully equipped with:
• Digital X-ray
• Dental X-ray
• Full in-house Idexx laboratory
• Dedicated cat and dog waiting areas and wards
• Isolation facilities
• Well-equipped theatre and prep area
The practice also works with visiting certificate holders in surgery, cardiology and minimally invasive procedures, and collaborates closely with behaviourists, physiotherapists and other specialists to provide a high standard of patient care.
The Role Includes
• General veterinary nursing duties
• Anaesthetic monitoring
• Pre and post-operative patient care
• Nurse consultations (puppy, kitten, weight clinics and chronic condition monitoring)
• Radiography and laboratory work
• Client support and education on pet health and welfare
