The Role:

Our client is looking for an RVN to join their independently-owned practice. They are based in a charming 200-year-old barn conversion, they hold RCVS tier 3 hospital status and pride themselves on offering cutting-edge veterinary care.

The Practice is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, including CT, DR X-ray, a complete laboratory, and scopes. This enables them to provide exceptional care and a wide range of services for their clients and their beloved pets.

The nursing team forms the largest and most vital unit in their two locations. Comprising 29 individuals, the team is a dynamic blend of talent, experience, and dedication. Their team members range from those with 18 years of experience down to the newest Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs).

They value care, compassion, and trust within their team dynamics. They prioritize the support of their nursing staff and actively encourage career development. Many of their nurses are currently engaged in pursuing various certificates to enhance their skills and contribute to patient care.

As an RVN within their practice, you will have the opportunity to rotate through ward duty, theatre, and consultations, ensuring that you gain valuable experience in all aspects of veterinary nursing. You'll find the caseload to be diverse and engaging, and their theatre days often involve more than just routine procedures.

They place great emphasis on maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your rota pattern may vary, but on average, you can expect to work a 42-hour week. Typically, your workdays will fall from Monday to Friday, with shifts spanning a minimum of 9 hours each day. Some shifts may include late hours and an on-call, supporting their night team when required. Rest breaks are paid in line with working time regulations.

If you are interested in this role and would like some more details, please reach out to Evie Godwin and she would be more than happy to help as best as she can.
