Our client - a small animal practice - are recruiting an RVN to join their talented team.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, 5 days per week with a mixture of shifts from week to week between 7.30am -8pm. The Saturday shifts work out in around 1in7, 8.30am-5pm, time is given back for Saturday hours the following week on the Monday. One bank holiday a year (excluding Christmas day and New Year’s Day).

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of nursing care including clinics and in-patient care before, during and after surgery. They are looking for someone who is happy to be working in a large team, confident in all aspects of surgery/medicine work-ups and be able to provide high quality clinical care to all pets.
The practice has a great team of nurses including 11 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses and 3 Animal Care Assistants. A number of their Nurses are trained in schedule 3 procedures, allowing Vets time to deal with more complex cases. They also have Nurses working towards further qualifications in ECC, behaviour, and feline nursing. There is a great atmosphere amongst the staff and help is always at hand for the trickier cases!
CPD is supported and actively encouraged within the team. The practice is friendly, with good communication among the staff and in normal circumstances there would be opportunities to meet outside of work to socialise.
Our client offers an excellent package with a competitive salary of up to £29,000 per annum including Private Medical Insurance, £550 CPD allowance with 24 hours paid pro rata, VDS and RCVS fees paid and plenty more.
