My client’s independent veterinary practice in North Yorkshire, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional care. As a family-run practice, they provide a comprehensive 24-hour service for pets, farm animals, and horses.
In line with their expansion, they are currently seeking a skilled RVN or soon-to-qualify veterinary nurse student to join their dynamic team!
Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including preparing patients for surgical procedures, providing assistance in the operating theatre, and ensuring thorough follow-ups with owners pre and post-operations. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in educating pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and vaccinations, administering treatments, and offering support in animal restraint as necessary. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within medical equipment, surgical theatres, and consultation areas will also be part of your duties.
This is a full-time position with the occasional on call responsibility on a rota basis. Experience as an RVN would be beneficial however, my client will also consider soon to qualify nurses as well.
