JR is seeking an RVN to join our clients team on a Fixed Term basis covering Maternity leave until 10th July 2025. You will be a vital member of the nursing team working closely with the Lead Nurses and Clinical Nursing Manager supporting the Junior nursing staff ACA’s and Kennel Assistants.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Provide the highest standards of clinical care to all patients and clients
- Maintain accurate patient and client records
- Participate with admission and discharge of patients
- Liase between the nursing teams and other teams within the practice
- Aid all Veterinary Surgeons when required
- Administer treatments eg, injections, medications and dispensary of medication etc
- Monitor and care for all inpatients during recovery and post op
- Participate in the OOH nursing Rota
- Be a welcoming and supportive member of the practice for all patients, clients and visitors
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Be a Team Player
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask
- Have a forward thinking attitude with the ability to make decisions benefiting the team
This is a Fixed Term role working 38.5 hours per week (8-week Rota) including additional inpatient care bonus of £2600 per annum.
