Our client is looking for a passionate RVN to join their busy and friendly practice, based in Nottinghamshire. This large & supportive team of nursing staff including RVNs, SVNs and Patient Care Assistants, will provide you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas. The centre offers excellent facilities and a full range of veterinary services delivered by a team of compassionate and experienced professionals.
The ideal candidate would be an RVN who shares their passion for delivering outstanding service and care for their patients and clients. You should be keen to progress and expand your knowledge/skills further, as well as assisting with clinical coaching and supporting student veterinary nurses. You will need the confidence to work alone when required, be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work and be happy to help and support wherever needed. Particular interests or directions in your career are supported by the team.
Key Accountabilities:
- Nursing/discharge of in-patients, prioritising patient welfare and care.
- Training of junior nurses & supporting students in practice.
- Running in house lab samples and organising repeat prescriptions.
- Nurse consultations.
Skills and Experience:
- RCVS registered.
- Committed to animal welfare.
- Ability to keep on top of practice protocols and procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary from £30,000 per annum.
- Relocation package of up to £2000.
- Permanent, full-time role. 40 hours per week & 1:8 full weekends. Open to flexible hours.
- CPD allowance and paid CPD leave.
- Payment of RCVS, VDS & BVNA fees.
