Our client are looking for an enthusiastic and professional RVN to join their multi-site team in Oxfordshire.
You will have the opportunity to spend time at both practices, splitting your time evenly between both sites.
You will be joining a team of 5 vet surgeons, 6 registered veterinary nurses, 1 student nurse and 1 VCA, a 4-colleague reception team and 1 practice manager who work closely together to provide a supportive environment for patients, clients, and colleagues alike.
The ideal candidate will be caring, strong, pay attention to detail and have great communication skills. A strong level of general nursing is required and above all else, you will be passionate and dedicated to providing an outstanding service for clients and their pets.
You will be registered with the RCVS and competent in all general nursing with responsibilities including:
- Preparing animals for surgery and supporting in surgery
- Administration of drugs, anaesthetic, and injections
- Nurse clinics
- X-rays
- Inpatient care
- Cleaning
The Role
- Registered Veterinary Nurse – full-time permanent position
- 40 hours a week
- 1:3 weekends
- No OOH
