About us
The role
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team at our fantastic practice based in Sheerness, Kent, as a Head Nurse.
The role will involve all aspects of nursing and management of the day-to-day running of the practice. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team.
Previous small animal experience is required. Ideally, you would have management experience but we are happy to support the right candidate with management training.
This is a full-time position, covering 40 hours a week over 5 days. You will also be part of a weekend rota, covering 1:4 full weekends. Further details can be discussed after the application.

Medivet Sheerness is a well-established first opinion practice. The team at Medivet Sheerness consists of 1 Lead Vet and 3 Patient care assistants. The clinic is close to our main centre in Faversham and we have a pet ambulance to transfer patients. the practice offers a range of services, either in-house or at one of the neighbouring practices.
Sheerness is the second largest town on the Isle of Sheppy in Kent, bursting with history and places to visit. there is a train station with links around kent and to London. Boasts beaches that are popular places for families to visit. the nearby coastline boasts SSSI protection, due to the geology and nature. it is a bird watcher's paradise.
