Non-clinical, remote home working position where your expertise and knowledge will be used every day. We would like a client care coordinator to join our small and friendly team. The role would be working Tuesday and Thursday 11am-7pm, and 1 Saturday morning per month (8am-1pm). There will be the option to take on more hours for the right candidate.
You must be a registered veterinary nurse (RVN) for this role.
The role is primarily a home working role, but please do note that travel is expected to attend initial training, industry events or team meetings as required. These may be at a variety of UK locations.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Appointment bookings
- Communication with clients and vets
- Managing medication orders and complying with VMR regulations
- Professional telephone and email communications
- Use of database software
- Updating clinical records
- Processing or referring enquiries
- Invoice management and taking payments
- Reporting analytics of company activity on a regular basis
- Keeping accurate records of communications
- Attending team meetings
- Social media management
Key skills needed:
- Excellent level of organisation
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload when booking multiple visits at once
- Confident using a variety of IT admin software’s such Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel etc)
- Experience in a customer facing role
- A high level of customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Pro-active and able to plan ahead
- Knowing your limits, and when you need to ask for support or training
- Problem solving
- Creative content creation for social media engagement
- Professional communications of all forms to include accurate spelling and grammar.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with at least 2 years of clinical experience
Reception experience
Customer service experience would be an advantage

Salary: £14.40 per hour
Hours: Tuesday and Thursday 11am-7pm, one Saturday every 4 weeks from 8am-1pm. There may be some flexibility or additional hours available for the right candidate.
Holiday: Pro-rata FTE 20 days a year plus pro-rata bank holidays.
