An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a feline only practice in London as Deputy Head RVN. This is a permanent full time position working a rolling rota of 5 days per week (8-9 hours per shift) with weekends on a 1 in 4 rota, with time off in lieu. Independent, purpose built practice that offers GP services as well as feline referral services for internal medicine, ophthalmology and dentistry. You will split your shifts between inpatient care / nurse consultations, anaesthesia and surgery (including ophthalmology referral), inpatient care and surgical recoveries. Applicants will ideally be confident in monitoring anaesthesia, assisting with surgeries and performing critical care nursing to intensive patients. A clinical coach is desired along with previous experience in a senior role with knowledge of stock management, equipment maintenance, nurse meetings, reviews, rotas and leading a team.
