GVC is working with a bright, purpose-built small animal practice looking to welcome a Registered Veterinary Nurse to their friendly and supportive team. Whether you’re just starting your RVN career or looking for your next move, this practice offers development, variety and work/life balance.
The Practice
This modern, air-conditioned, purpose-built practice is equipped to a high clinical standard and offers a varied caseload.
Facilities include:
Digital X-ray
Ultrasound
Separate digital dental X-ray
In-house laboratory
Access to endoscopy
Orthopaedic surgery equipment
Support for exotic patients
The team are passionate about encouraging nurses to use their full skillset and develop professionally.
The Role
This is a genuinely hands-on nursing role with minimal reception work.
RVNs here are fully involved in:
Anaesthesia monitoring
Nurse consults and clinics
Radiography (including dental radiography)
Scale and polish procedures
Blood sampling and cannula placement
Inpatient care
Schedule 3 procedures (encouraged and supported)
You’ll be part of a collaborative team where nurses are respected and empowered clinically.
Hours & Flexibility
Happy to consider Part Time or Full Time
If working Full Time can be worked over 4 or 5 days; your choice
1 in 4 Saturdays (8am–6pm)
No OOH
No on-call
Closed on Sundays
Salary & Benefits
£29,000 – £34,000 DOE
Newly qualified RVNs start from £29,000
