Experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse – Night Team
South Wales | 7 on / 7 off
Are you an experienced RVN looking for a night role where your clinical skills are genuinely utilised and valued? We’re recruiting a confident, capable RVN to join the night team at a large, well-equipped veterinary hospital in South Wales.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dedicated ECC environment, supported by a large team of vets, RVNs, ACAs and reception staff, delivering a seamless 24/7 service for both in-house patients and local referring practices.
The Role
• 12-hour night shifts
• 7 nights on / 7 nights off rota
• Average 42 hours per week
• Hands-on role delivering advanced nursing care to hospitalised and critical patients
The Practice
This is a multi-disciplinary hospital that actively encourages collaboration between first-opinion and ECC teams. The practice has invested heavily in both people and facilities, giving you the opportunity to work cases up thoroughly and develop your clinical interests.
Facilities include:
• 24/7 inpatient and ECC care
• CT scanner and advanced ultrasonography
• Endosurgery facilities
• Extensive in-house diagnostics (including TEG and blood gases)
• Dedicated ECC, orthopaedic, soft tissue and exotic theatres
• Dental suite and rehabilitation services (physiotherapy & hydrotherapy)
Salary & Benefits
• Salary up to £45,500
• 8 weeks’ paid holiday (equivalent of 4 working weeks due to rota pattern)
• Sick pay: 2 weeks full pay + 4 weeks half pay
• £600 CPD allowance + 3 paid CPD days (certificates encouraged)
