Are you an experienced nurse ready to step into a leadership role? JR Veterinary is searching for a Senior RVN to complete a "perfect practice puzzle" in a charming riverside village in Southwest London.
Working alongside a new Senior Vet, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the daily operations of this popular first-opinion clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves the "village" feel of a local practice but wants the clinical backing of a larger hospital network.
The Role:
As the Senior RVN, you will be the heartbeat of the practice, ensuring high standards of care while managing the nursing and reception teams.
- Practice Management: Oversee the daily diary, equipment maintenance, and team engagement.
- Clinical Duties: Assist in theatre and consultations, utilizing your Schedule 3 skills to their full potential.
- Mentorship: Support the next generation of talent as a Clinical Supervisor for student nurses.
- The Environment: Join a small, dedicated team (1 Senior Vet, 1 Associate, and support staff) with a largely insured and loyal client base.
- The Support: Receive full backing from a Regional Manager and specialized leadership training to help you transition into your new senior responsibilities.
The Rota & Balance:
- Hours: 40 hours per week (Flexible 4-day week option available).
- Weekends: A 1:4 Saturday rotation at the branch and a 1:10 Sunday rotation at a nearby 24-hour hospital.
- No On-Call: Enjoy your evenings knowing OOH is fully covered by a local hospital hub.
