Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 DOE
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week + 1 in 4 weekends
We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse to support the leadership and development of a talented nursing team in South Yorkshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RVN ready to step into a leadership role — or for an existing Deputy Nurse keen to join a forward-thinking, supportive practice that’s dedicated to gold-standard patient care and professional growth.
💡 The Role
As Deputy Head Nurse, you’ll work closely with the Head Nurse to help drive clinical excellence, efficiency, and team development. You’ll take an active role in supporting daily operations, mentoring colleagues, and ensuring the smooth running of the practice.
You’ll thrive in a hands-on role, enjoy variety in your day, and take pride in setting high standards for patient care, communication, and teamwork.

- We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
- Has strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Works well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Has a genuine passion for supporting patients, clients, and colleagues alike
