We’re working with a friendly, forward-thinking 100% small animal practice in South Staffordshire that’s looking to welcome a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to their close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive environment where patient care comes first, your voice is heard, and your development is actively encouraged.
The Role
This is a full-time position offering flexibility around how your week is structured:
- 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days
- 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:30am–5:30pm)
- No emergency out-of-hours
- 1-hour lunch break
- Shift patterns between 8:00am–7:00pm
- Option for a 4-day week (38 hours) with longer days considered
- You’ll enjoy a truly varied role, rotating across all areas of the practice, including:
- Nursing consults
- Theatre and surgical support
- Inpatient care and kennels
- Prep and recovery
- Front-of-house/reception duties
- Your skills will be fully utilised, and there’s real encouragement to develop your clinical interests.
About the Practice
This well-established independent practice is based in a characterful converted building and has built a strong reputation locally for high standards of care and a loyal client base.
The team consists of 4 Vets, 6 RVNs and 1 SVN who pride themselves on creating a supportive, collaborative working culture. They genuinely enjoy working together — from supporting each other on busy days to regular social events outside of work. There are even practice dogs who attend regularly and are always happy to provide a morale boost.
