An excellent opportunity has arisen for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly team at a practice in Suffolk. The ideal candidate will be confident in many aspects of practice such as general anaesthetic, inpatient care, and nurse clinics. The practice is looking for someone to join the team for 35-40 hours per week over a 4-day week on a set shift pattern. Successful candidates will also be required to participate in a providing a limited out of hours service on a rota for 1 night duty during the week and 1 in 5 weekends, this would include a Saturday morning shift of 8:30am-2:00pm. Part-time applicants will be considered for this role. Purpose-built practice consisting of orthopaedic and soft tissues theatres as well as a radiography suite including dental x-ray, endoscopy, and ultrasound. Over the two practices the team consists of 6 full-time equivalent Vets, as well as a nursing team of 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, a dedicated reception team, and nursing assistants to support. On offer is a fantastic package including CPD allowance, paid memberships (VDS, RCVS), and a competitive salary dependent on experience.
