Shipston Veterinary Centre are looking for a friendly and committed Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our fabulous team!
About us:
We are a small practice located in Shipston On Stour in the North Cotswolds.
Shipston Veterinary Centre is a RCVS accredited, small animal practice, also having achieved cat and dog friendly status. Our opening hours are 8am-6.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30-12.30pm on Saturdays. No OOHs and no sole charge, we strive for work life balance and the wellbeing of our team. We hold regular social events for the team throughout the year and have fruit Tuesdays, along with home baked cakes mixed in between!
Our team currently consists of 5 vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVNs and 4 receptionists.
We currently have one vet with a general small animal certificate and another working towards a surgical certificate, we offer laparoscopic procedures in-house, as well as having endoscopes, digital x-ray and dental x-ray. One RVN is undertaking an anaesthesia certificate and another has an exotics certificate.
The Role
We are currently seeking a full time RVN for 40 hours per week but will consider other options for the right candidate. Saturday’s will be on a 1:5 rota.
We actively encourage our nurses to use and develop their skills and progress in other areas such as clinical coaching, certificates and schedule 3 procedures. Your working week will be split for a day in surgery, a day on consultations and inpatient/recoveries, however we are open to looking at this if you have a particular passion in one area.
Salary up to £30,000 dependent on experience.
