A brand‑new, purpose‑built small animal surgery is opening in West London, and we are looking for a passionate RVN to join the founding team. You’ll help shape how the clinic runs, how the team works together and how patient care is delivered from day one.
The Practice The surgery has been designed to be light, spacious and modern, with a calm environment for pets and a positive, inspiring workspace for the team. Facilities include:
- Eight consult rooms
- Three operating theatres
- Separate dental and imaging suites
- Large prep area and dedicated wards
- Modern diagnostics and equipment throughout
You’ll be encouraged to fully utilise your nursing skills, from clinics and Schedule 3 procedures to anaesthesia, inpatient care and client education.
You won’t just join a team — you’ll help create it.
The Role As a key member of the clinical team, you will play an essential role in delivering excellent patient care and a warm, professional client experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting vets in consultations, diagnostics and surgery
- Running nurse clinics and promoting preventive healthcare
- Delivering inpatient care and monitoring anaesthesia
- Undertaking laboratory work, radiography and theatre duties
- Supporting and mentoring student nurses where appropriate
- Helping ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations
This is a hands‑on, proactive role where you will be integral to how the practice functions.
Working Pattern
- Full‑time rota
- 4 x 9‑hour days
- Average 39 hours per week
- Nurse care nights included (accommodation provided when required)
