JR Veterinary is searching for a Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a distinctive GP practice in West London. Located in a beautifully converted bank, this practice offers a high standard of first-opinion care.
The Role:
This is a pivotal role for a confident nurse who wants to combine clinical work with team management. You’ll be the heartbeat of the practice, supported by an engaged nursing team and an experienced Lead Vet.
- Lead & Mentor: Responsible for the nursing team and acting as a clinical supervisor for student nurses.
- Clinical Scope: Full use of Schedule 3 skills, assisting in theatre, and managing surgical/medical equipment.
- Operations: Overseeing the daily flow of the practice, including reception standards and controlled drug audits.
- Support: You’ll have the full backing of a dedicated Regional Manager and access to a nearby state-of-the-art hospital for complex cases (CT, Scopes, Laparoscopy).
The Rota:
We know work-life balance matters. This role offers a clear structure with no on-call requirements.
- Hours: 40-hour week.
- Weekends: 1:3 Saturdays at the branch and a 1:10 Sunday rotation at a nearby hospital (with time back given for weekend days worked).
- Bank Holidays: Just 1–2 per year.
