Enthusiastic Part Time Veterinary Nurse Required for Leading Charity Pet Hospital in the West Midlands. The team consists of 4 to 6 vets and 6 to 7 VCAs daily between 5-6 rota The hours are 22.5 hours a week with a rolling 8 weeks rota with no OOH: OOH shifts available for ACAs, weekend rota: 1 in 8. You will be confident working in a dynamic environment & communicating with a wide range of people (clients/ volunteers / supporters). Being a charity vet nurse is a unique challenge, combining pragmatism with a strong client care & education focus to deliver good clinical outcomes, making a life changing difference to the patients & their families. The range and variety of cases that you will see at the Pet Hospital is diverse. The Nursing Team provide Nurse Consultations, in-patient care, Surgical nursing, & Pharmacy Management, plus more. There are so many opportunities to get involved and develop your skills across all areas of clinical practice. Well-equipped pet hospitals generally including separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment.
