Registered Veterinary Nurse – West Surrey
An excellent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a modern, independent small animal practice in West Surrey, offering genuine flexibility, strong team support, and a clear focus on high clinical standards and continuity of care.
The Role
- Permanent RVN position
- Full-time or part-time considered
- Flexible rota with a choice of:
- Full working days with day(s) off
- Shorter working days
- Weekday opening hours: 8:00am – 7:00pm
- True first-opinion nursing role across consult support, theatre, inpatient care and OOH continuity
- Own OOH care required:
- 1 night on-call per week
- 1:4 weekend rota (on-call from Friday night to Monday morning)
- Weekend opening hours:
- Saturday: 08:30 – 16:30
- Sunday: 09:30 – 12:30
- On-call outside these hours on a call-out basis

- Fully independent small animal practice, established in 2022
- Client- and patient-focused with an emphasis on teamwork and continuity
- Strong staff retention and supportive working culture
- Team includes:
- 3 full-time Vets and 1 part-time Vet
- 3 RVNs (including a Head RVN)
- 1 VCA
- 6-person reception team
- Well-equipped facilities including:
- Digital X-ray
- Ultrasound
- Laparoscopy and endoscopy
- Dental suite
- Multiparameter monitoring
- In-house laboratory
The Ideal Candidate
- RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Newly qualified or experienced nurses welcome
- Team-focused with a collaborative, positive attitude
- Strong communication skills and commitment to client care
- Comfortable with participation in a shared OOH rota
- Keen to develop clinically within an independent setting
