Independent Small Animal Practice | Up to £32,000 | No OOH | Training Centre
Looking for a supportive, independent practice where your contribution genuinely matters?
We’re working with a well-established, family-run small animal practice in West Yorkshire seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and collaborative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN who enjoys clinical involvement, teamwork, and the opportunity to support student development.
The Role
- Full-time (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday)
- Part-time and job share applications considered
- 1 in 6 Saturdays
- No OOH – covered by an external provider
- No Bank Holidays required (except Good Friday)
- Occasional shifts at a nearby branch practice
- This is an RCVS-accredited practice and an approved Veterinary Nurse Training Centre, offering a varied caseload within a supportive clinical environment.

- You’ll be a confident, compassionate RVN who:
- Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues
- Works well under pressure
- Maintains high professional and clinical standards
- Participates in clinical meetings
- Supports junior team members
- Contributes positively to team culture
- Is organised and able to multitask
- An interest in training student nurses and becoming a Clinical Coach is highly desirable (though not essential).
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS)
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience
- Full, clean UK driving licence (may be required to drive a company vehicle)
- Ability to reliably commute within West Yorkshire
- Please ensure your RCVS registration number is included with your application.
