A modern Small Animal practice is looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking Clinical Director to lead their friendly team and take the business forward.
The practice is modern, with excellent facilities including all the usual Veterinary equipment including dental x-ray, digital x-ray, biochem, haematology, in-house lab, dedicated ops theatre, isolation unit, orthopaedics, ultrasound.
The practice is also ISFM gold standard cat friendly and RAWF Rabbit friendly silver status.
The team currently consists of 2 lovely, experienced Vets, 2 Veterinary nurses, 1 student nurse, plus support staff.
Alongside surgical and medical duties, the Clinical Director should be able to lead the team and be able to conduct team and individual 121 meetings. He or she will provide a rounded support role from both a clinical and non-clinical perspective, and work with the practice manager on practice profitability.
The candidate will also be able to analyse the business and see where additional people support may be needed.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
As well as excellent surgical and medical skills, the ideal candidate will also possess strong management skills and have experience of emergency surgery including neutering and simple procedures.
