Our client has an exciting opportunity for Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their practice in Reading.
We are looking for a candidate that is driven, dynamic, and ambitious with exceptional communication skills. You will need at least 2 years of UK (or UK equivalent) small animal experience.
This role is sole charge (supported by a Head Nurse and Student Nurse), covering 39 hours a week across 4 days with a rota of 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends.
Candidates will need to:
** Provide high standards of clinical care to your clients, patients, direction and leadership to colleagues in practice, to ensure delivery against agreed performance measures.
** Be responsible for the financial and operational performance of your practice and overall team performance and engagement.
** Ensure the delivery of exceptional clinical quality and care standards in the practice, always encouraging a progressive clinical culture.
- Salary up to £75,000 depending on experience
- CPD allowance and leave
- 5 weeks annual leave, plus bank holidays
- 39 hours a week
- 4 days with a rota of 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends
