Well established RCVS Accredited Independent practice in West Berkshire are seeking an Enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join the well established team . Working across the three sites, offering a high quality service for the lovely clients with a friendly team ethos. A good sense of humour is essential and the ability to work well as part of a team. Full time position, 4 or 5 days a week with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8.30am to 1.30pm with no OOH.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting in theatre, including monitoring anaesthesia
- Post operative monitoring and inpatient care
- Conducting a variety of nurse clinics
- Assisting with diagnostic imaging
- Running in-house laboratory testing- full in-house Idexx suite at each branch
- Maintaining high standards of infection control and hygiene
- Reception duties
