Sam is working with a prestigious Veterinary Hospital and Referral Centre based on the outskirts of Birmingham, who are recruiting for an Emergency Vet. This role would suit an experienced Vet with at least two years of postgraduate experience in small animal practice, ideally with experience in ECC and hospital work. There will be lots of support available and an varied and expansive caseload for those interested in studying a Certificate, and plenty of scope to develop your clinical skills further if you already have a Certificate.
Your duties will be to provide emergency care for a wide range of cases from local practices, and work alongside specialists in multi-disciplines to support the provision of emergency referrals. You will deliver exceptional inpatient care to emergency cases requiring prolonged hospitalisation, as well as to critical cases with support from ECC specialists.
In this role, you will be able to work alongside internationally renowned Specialists across our client's multi-disciplinary team, including Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Oncology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Dermatology, Imaging, Anaesthesia, and Emergency and Critical Care.
Hours will be on a 6 week rota basis, with varied shifts to include day, evening and night shifts, as well as 3 weeks off built in to allow a great work-life balance.
The package includes a competitive salary, ranging from £60,000 upwards (D.O.E.), plus a signing bonus!
